Graduate Support Services

Helping the families we serve to succeed today and maintain their stability.  We  believe that once you are part of Family Promise, your are always family...

Our goal is not simply getting families into housing; it is keeping them in housing.

While the homeless families who successfully graduate from our program have found employment and affordable housing, they are still in a precarious position. Even a small, unforeseen crisis could easily result in a family going into debt and losing their housing.

Our "Us and You Follow Through" Graduate Program's function is to provide case management that encourages stability.

When a specific need arises, the program will provide targeted financial support to families in an effort to maintain their stabilization.

Targeted Financial Support

Examples of direct aid the program will provide to families include:

  • Car repair due to an accident or failed inspection

  • An employment certification program

  • Medical, mental health or dental copays

  • Winter clothing for children

  • Grocery cards

  • Gas cards

  • Summer camp fees

  • Athletic equipment or team registration for kids

It's The Right Thing To Do

Family Promise of Greater Concord recognizes that our families have not built a full skillset in the short time they are in our shelter program and some guidance may be necessary to prevent a repeat in homelessness history.

Our case managers work hard to build trust with each family, without judgement, so that they feel comfortable to reach out when an issue arises. While case management is always available, financial support is given at the discretion of our organization to those families who work to stay in contact with us on a regular basis.
