Our Impact

Family Promise allows communities to develop comprehensive, holistic solutions for families facing homelessness. Families come to us in crisis; our approach of coordinated compassion helps them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

Using existing community resources, Family Promise of Greater Concord delivers life-changing services at roughly 1/3 the cost of traditional shelters. And, more importantly we keep families together in their time of crisis. In this regard, our track record reflects 83% of families who entered our shelter program found permanent housing in 12-14 weeks and were able to regain their independence.

CHANGING LIVES

Accomplishments

For the period of 2015-2022 our combined efforts of wrap-around case management, shelter, meals, stabilization services, and homelessness prevention has helped a total of 552 individuals.

This includes a total of 72 family units (112 adults and 138 children under 18) for a total of 250 individuals who required shelter and stabilization support; and a total of 121 family units (162 adults and 140 children under 18) for a total of 140 individuals who since mid-2020 were able to avoid shelter altogether and tap into our newly expanded diversion programming services.

In 2022 alone we are grateful to have helped a total of 170 individuals. This data, consistent with our financials reflects our core program impact and outcomes:

Shelter Program: 18 adults, 22 children: 10 family units. (5 were single Moms); and
Prevention (Diversion) Program: 79 adults, 51 children: 62 family units.
- Of this combined total, 73 were children under 18.

In the Greater Concord area more than 83% of families in our shelter program secure housing because of our intensive case management and community support.
